Webpolycount wise there shouldn't be much difference. But I couldn't get my hands on a oculus Avatar 3d model or watch it in close up. But the readyplayer.me are very well optimised polygon and texture wise. We tested them with 5 other friends on Mozilla Hubs in Web XR in a detailed environment and everything worked fine.
